The global market for Travellers Cheques has greatly reduced in recent years and some travellers are finding it difficult to exchange them.

As a result we no longer offer them for sale.

In addition to carrying local currency banknotes you can usually use your debit card or credit card most anywhere in the world.

We recommend that you check with your bank before travelling to ensure that your card can be used where you are going.  You should also ask about what charges your bank will levy when you use your card overseas.

Generally the best time to buy or sell a currency is when you need to and it is convenient for you.

An inverse rate is where an exchange rate is expressed in terms of how many units of a foreign currency does it take to make one (1) Canadian Dollar.

 A direct rate is how many Canadian Dollars does it take to make one (1) unit of the foreign currency.
